Bringing Down a Dictator

About the movement to overthrow Slobodan Milosevic in Serbia. It was a pretty impressive campaign of information, creative demonstrations, and protests that eventually turned the police/military on the side of the protestors and forced him to resign. I think the biggest lessons are normalizing dissent, consistent and increasing pressure, and making protests fun.

I’m not sure how applicable it would be other places though. And the documentary seems a little unbalanced in favor of the movement. It doesn’t show them doing anything wrong and we wondered if there were things that were glossed over.
