We Shall Remain: Wounded Knee is the final installment in a five part PBS documentary about Native Americans. It is about the American Indian Movement (AIM) 71 day occupation of Wounded Knee in 1973 that brought international attention to the oppression and continued cultural genocide against native peoples.

It is such an important piece of history that we hear very little about. Probably because it was a fairly successful armed occupation that stood up to the US government. The courage and dedication shown is amazing.
